Gentle Rise of Hope respects the privacy of the families, community members, partners, volunteers, staff, and other individuals who interact with our organization, website, programs, and internal systems.
Information We May Collect
Gentle Rise of Hope may collect information that individuals voluntarily provide to us through registration forms, intake forms, program applications, referrals, contact forms, surveys, event registrations, email communications, and other interactions with our organization.
This information may include names, contact information, household information, program needs, service requests, demographic information when voluntarily provided, and other information necessary to coordinate Gentle Rise of Hope programs and services.
How We Use Information
Information collected by Gentle Rise of Hope may be used to:
Coordinate programs and services
Communicate with families and participants
Manage registrations, appointments, events, and follow-ups
Connect families with possible community resources
Track program participation and organizational impact
Support grant reporting and organizational administration

Gentle Rise of Hope does not sell personal information.
Gentle Rise of Hope OS
Gentle Rise of Hope uses an internal operating system, known as Gentle Rise of Hope OS, to help authorized team members coordinate organizational operations, programs, scheduling, family support, resources, inventory, partnerships, grants, and related activities.
Access to private information within Gentle Rise of Hope OS is limited to authorized users and is subject to role-based and need-to-know access controls.
Google Calendar Data
Authorized Gentle Rise of Hope team members may optionally connect their Google Calendar to Gentle Rise of Hope OS for scheduling purposes.
When a Google Calendar is connected, Gentle Rise of Hope OS requests access only to calendar free/busy availability.
Gentle Rise of Hope OS does not import Google Calendar event titles, descriptions, locations, attendee lists, or other private appointment details. The system receives only the start and end times during which the connected calendar reports that the user is busy.
Busy-time information is used only to help authorized Gentle Rise of Hope team members identify scheduling conflicts.
Google Calendar information is not sold, used for advertising, or provided to data brokers.
Google authorization credentials and connection information are handled securely. Google refresh tokens used by Gentle Rise of Hope OS are encrypted before storage.
Users may disconnect their Google Calendar from Gentle Rise of Hope OS at any time, after which the system will stop requesting updated calendar availability.
Gentle Rise of Hope's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Information Sharing
Gentle Rise of Hope may share information only when necessary to provide requested services, comply with legal obligations, protect the safety of individuals, or when appropriate permission or authorization has been provided.
Providing a family with information about an outside resource does not automatically mean that Gentle Rise of Hope has shared the family's personal information with that organization.
Data Security
Gentle Rise of Hope uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.
Your Choices
Individuals may contact Gentle Rise of Hope with questions about information they have provided, request corrections when appropriate, or ask questions about how their information is handled.
Google Calendar connections are optional and may be disconnected by the connected user.
